What more can be said about the life of a musician? Actually, quite a lot as we found out during our interview with Steve Ostrow. His journey from the Eastman School of music to Akron Ohio tells us that you have to be ready for what life throws at you.

Synopsis of the TV program

Professional: Steve Ostrow is a teacher, symphony orchestra member, Klezmer band member and a strolling violinist.

School activity: Orchestra students tell about the practice they do as well as the fun they have participating in a high school orchestra.

Follow-up Activities:

Students research home made instruments on the Internet and then create their own homemade band.
